Dear Friends!

Long time no news from me but I hope you will forgive me. I have been a busy mum taking care of my 2 years old Weronika and preparing for the arrival of her brother or sister this Christmas. Yes, just one week left to find out who will be added by Heavens to our family :) Waiting for this arrival I created a design of The Little Lord Jesus for my Christmas cards this year and I also inked it for you all to use it and share the whole meaning of the Holidays on your creation if you like.  Meanwhile I also have some great news for my digital works' fans. Due to the expanding family life I decided to make all my black and white works available from the same place. And Denise was so helpful to make this idea possible. So starting New Year - January the 1st my digital artworks will be available from Whimsy Stamps, just where my rubber works are. I hope you are all well and happy! :) I wanted to let you know I am still here but just busy with my 18 months old daughter that left me now time for work. I enjoy this new life chapter with her as much as I can. I miss you and think of you though.

Few new works

Hi everyone,

Here I am again five busy months later. :) All is well here, thank you so much for all your very kind wishes in my previous post. I also received some wonderful warm emails and beautiful cards that made this wonderful (but also challenging) time even more special. Thank you my friends!💖

As for my Weronika she is a little smiling sweetheart (half of the time of course) and allows me to draw a bit from time to time. But as she can wake up any time soon now I will keep this post short and just introduce two new artworks released today and two previous ones that I had no time to properly advertise so far:

Speaking of new.... 

In my last post I promised to write about some change in my life that caused me to post and work less recently. Please forgive me my silence in this matter especially that it raised some worries about me but the news is all good! Two months ago I became a mother to a beautiful baby girl Weronika! My little fairy was born on 8th of October weighting over 3,5kg and she was a little stubborn girl as she was 16 days overdue! Now, after two months I am still getting to know her and it is an absolutely amazing adventure.

In the light of this new working environment I am not sure how often I will be releasing now as I do not know how time-consuming and demanding my new "boss" will be in next few months;) There is one new digi coming in January though and I have few baby sketches (some good source of inspiration is available now) waiting to be completed. Fingers crossed I will have some energy left to finish those.

Till then I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and creative New Year.

Sweetie is a fairy that was actually created for a special birthday card for Mariska van der Veer. Sadly Mariska does not make cards anymore but I keep in touch with her and she still kindly helps me with the new designs. Finger crossed she will be back one day with her amazing 3D cards.

I am back here with a small release for an upcoming Valentine's Day!!  Meet Frog Prince! :)

 I have a friend who loves frogs and when I was about to make a card for her I realized I have no single image of it. So here it is, a bit more fluffier though than in a reality but I hope you like it.

Wee Stamps are back in digital version and freebie!

Hi everyone,

First I apologize for my long silence on this blog. It have been really depressing and frustrating few months of trying to catch up with this new EU Vat tax laws and looking for solution how to implement the needed changes to my shop. Before I had realized my creativity and enthusiasm for work was gone though and I almost completely stopped drawing and updating my pages.

But finally I have some better news today. EU Vat is still such complicated and unregulated tax law that I decided to make your and mine life a little bit more difficult in order to be able to sell again though and still keep the prices low. As the new law (at least in HMRC's interpretation) apply to electronically supplied digital services, but does not apply when files are manually emailed and involve quite a lot of my work, I decided to reopen my shop and make the digis available via email order only.

This is how it works:

1. Please go to the Wee Stamps website here and check the catalog of my works.

(If you see "error page" - refresh it)

2. Via weestamps at gmail.com or contact form on my website let me know the names of digis you like and include your PayPal email address.

3. I will send you PayPal invoice.

4. The digis will be sent to you once the payment is made.

So this is the solution for now. I am not sure how long this will last for as there are some news that this new tax laws will be expanded from automated digital services to any goods being sold online in 2016. So I may be forced to close my shop again in January if I won't find any better solution till then.  But let's hope it won't be necessary. 

Anyway please bare with this new shop rules for now and forgive the long ordering process. I also want to thank you for your amazing patience and encouraging words for past few months in all the emails I received. I already read quite a few warm welcoming words on Wee facebook as well and it gives me the well needed energy to go back on the creative track. :)

I hope you are all well. I am sorry for my silence for a while, it has been (and still is) the most dynamic year in my life so I wasn't able to work much. I didn't have to worry about you, my blog readers and customers though as sombody else took a great care of you during that past month or so. Thank you Mariska! :)

As some of you already know there are some new VAT tax laws in the European Union which would require me to charge, collect, and then pay tax on all my digital stamps. Due to this new law we(e) decided to close the shop on 30th December 2014. But please do not worry as we hope this closing will be just temporary untill we find a new solution how to work with those new tax regulations, especially that they are quite new and they keep changing a bit all the time.

 Before we close the shop though I would like to offer you a discount if you want to add any of my designs to your collection and work with them during my off time.

Good morning everybody,

I know some of you have been waiting for this announcement. You'll now find the digital images of Dyanne and Cuddly Ride in the Wee Stamps Store! Of course they are also still available in rubber through Whimsy Stamps (Dyanne and Cuddly Ride).

To celebrate I thought I'd show you a project I did with Dyanne. As you may already know Sylvia Zet was inspired by my daughter Dyanne when she drew the image. For me this image is to special to just turn into a card and send away so I decided to decorate a shadowbox with it. The inspiration for the image has always claimed it as hers and wants it in her room :). Hope you like it as well.

 Purple is Dyanne's favorite color so there had to be purple in the image.

Two new rubber stamps

Hello everybody,

With pleasure I'd like to inform you all that Whimsy Stamps will be releasing two new Wee Stamps rubber stamps today.

Both these images are very special to me. Sylvia surprised me with gorgeous pencil drawings of my children when she visited me in The Netherlands earlier this year. Each one of my three children received a fabulous portrait of themselves with a Wee character based on each of them below the portrait. Sylvia has really captured the spirit of all three of my children and I'll be forever grateful and will forever treasure for my gorgeous artworks. They were to pretty not to share though as I'm sure you'll agree with me so I convinced Sylvia that the Wee characters she had created really should be released.

Starting today you can buy the images Sylvia made for my two daughters Dyanne and Amy in rubber through Whimsy Stamps, tomorrow you should be able to buy the rubber stamps through your favorite Whimsy Stamps retailer (a list of retailers you'll find HERE). The digital versions will be released later this month so you'll have to wait a little longer for those but then when they do arrive they won't be alone :). Of course we'll announce the digital release both here and on the Wee Stamps Facebook page. So enough talking, with great pleasure I like to show you Dyanne and Cuddly Ride (which is based on my daughter Amy)!

Sarah with a give away

Hi everybody,

Today I'd like to show you another Christmas card I made. This time I used the newly released pretty Sarah by Wee Stamps (digi/rubber stamp).

The base of the card is just kraft cardstock, with stitches by hand around the edges. I smeared a bit embossing ink on one side of an embossing folder and pressed that on two edges of the cardstock, sprinkled white embossing powder on it, tapped it of and embossed that. I wanted to get this not perfect pattern.

Like I mentioned, the image that I used is the newly released Sarah by Wee Stamps (available as a digital image through Wee Stamps and as a rubber stamp through Whimsy Stamps). I colored her with Copic Markers and 3D paper pieced her.

I hope you like Sarah as much as I do and would love to work with her as well. Sylvia was kind enough to let me give away Sarah as a rubber stamp to one of the people commenting on this post!
