Have you seen my new collection for SCACD, The New Adventures of Loli and Poppy? It has just been released yesterday. The whole set are 5 new designs available only as rubber stamps from SCACD in US and Quixotic Paperie in UK.

This is one of my favourities from the set - little Loli dancing with her furry friend.

Wee Stamps in Whimsy Rubber!

Hello and welcome to the Wee Stamps for Whimsy Stamps BLOG HOP!

I have some very good news today for Rubber Stamps Lovers! I am happy to finally announce that from today, the 5th of October, the first 6 of my digital Wee Stamps collection are available in rubber from the Whimsy Stamps store! ....- and that this is just the beginning of Wee and Whimsy collaboration. :)

Every month from now on Whimsy Stamps will be releasing my Wee designs as deeply etched red rubber stamps for those of you who prefers the mess of the ink from the stress with the printer :).

For the past 3 days the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests have been showcasing these designs through their fabulous creations, and today we are celebrating this Wee for Whimsy release with a big BLOG HOP! I have something special for those of you who love my digital Wee Stamps collection.:) This little lady with her bat friend sitting on the broom is Hazel - my very first wee witch character!!

I really wanted to colour her up to have fun and show you the idea I had with her hair. On the black and white image I wouldn't be able to suggest these few different highlights... I think it looks cool, doesn't it?! ;)

I have very good news today for those of you who not only like cute or fluffy images I design for Wee Stamps but are also looking for something humorous and sassy to add to your projects!

Few months ago (before I even opened Wee Stamps) I was contacted by two lovely Canadian Ladies - Joycelyn Turner and Rebecca Kuhne from Totally Stampalicious company. Hello Dear Crafters!

I hope that our weather treats you good wherever you are at the moment. Here in Edinburgh there were 3 days in a row of sunshine which is extremely good for Scotland in Summer ;)

Hello my Friends!

First of all - I am not sure if you read this Pinky, but if so - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!! :o) I hope you will have a special Day today!

I hope not to get you bored too much, but there is something I would love to write about. This morning I spot Rose's Bike Ride card so I visited Bettina blog to have a closer look. I read her post with great interest. She was complaining a bit about the rainy weather and wished for a storm. This is what she wrote:

"Im a girl who loves storms and the thunder. i get so excited and i love the adrenaline boost i get from it,lol. am i really crazy? Well maybe i am a little crazy? just like you all, ha, ha! come on admit it, whats your crazy love? I told you mine, its thunder and lightning."

I think this "crazy love" idea is great! I decided to continue this and ask for your ones! I am sure it will help us to get to know each other a little bit better and will help me not to feel too crazy about mu own crazy love,

HENS, LITTLE CHICKENS AND ROOSTERS!

That is crazy, isn't it? LOL I generally love birds and little chickens just melts my heart. When I was a little girl I used to spend all summers with my grandparents on their farm back in Poland. There were no other kids in my age and I was rather a shy kid so I spend all days drawing and talking to hens and roosters. They were my friends with their own names (apart from those who where aggressive or simply not interested to socialize with me). LOL

I still love them, they do have different personalities, they are funny and they bring back my childhood memories. My dream is to have a little farm and to have there some most beautiful hens I have seen on poultry shows.

So what is your crazy love if you have one? Come on, share it, do not leave me with me crazy confession alone here! :o)

Hi There Wonderful Crafters!

It has been a while since my last release but I was having some health issues and was not very creative the past few weeks. As I feel much better now I can finally bring some life to this blog and clean some cobwebs away. :o)

I would like to welcome the new followers, thanks, it's great seeing you here! Thank You too to All of you for your comments and for sharing with me your cards and projects through emails and Facebook page. It really brings me lots of joy seeing Wee designs gaining new life in each of your creations. Some of your cards are so inspiring that I have not only ordered one of them as a gift for my friend but also find myself browsing through some crafting accessories with great interest :0) LOL

OK. Now some Wee news. It seems like it's been a long time coming but finally it's here - the next release date set is Friday, 27th May.

April colours...

Hello!! :))))

I have a wee something for you:) I am going to share photo I took yesterday. This is Edinburgh castle in background (I know it looks dark) - but just look at this spring meadow around it!! I am in love with this place, thousands of daffodils and amazing scent of spring and flowers! Every year I look forward to see this golden blossom in the middle of city center. I take my camera, my sketchbook, I choose one of the benches there with view over the Princess Gardens and New Town and I spend hours among all those yellow heads..:))) The women you can see on this photo - it is my mother-in-law :) As it is her first visit here in April - I just had to take her there straight away from the airport bus and I didn't leave her time to get her bags unpacked :) I just love flowers sooo much, the more of them - the better. I am sure you do as well ;))

And now to the main part..Wee Stamps!
Today I have this sneak peek of one of the images for April's very girly and very fluffy release. There are only 4 days left as it will be on Friday 15th. :)))

This is bunny - a wee bit scared, a wee bit lost, but - trust me - he is in good, little hands now :)

Good Morning!

At the beginning I would like to thank you for all your comments generally and each one of them separately. I was not able to respond individually, but your kindness and support means a lot to me. As some of you know – I am originally from Poland, so writing in English is still challenging task for me.

Thank you also for your help with propositions of name for Suzi’s brother. My favourite ideas were: Kyle, Scott, Jim and Billy. So I couldn’t decide again ;) But as there were three votes for Sam, we decided that this is cute name too and we will have “Suzi and Sam” siblings. Thank you Ladies!

Hello talented Crafters :).

I hope you are all well and that you enjoy the first signs of coming Spring. Edinburgh is blooming with white, yellow and violet colours of crocuses at the moment. I have switched off my radio, as birds are singing now all day long and I prefer theirs cheering voices than any other music.

OK, as for the Wee venture. Two crazy, but wonderful weeks behind me. After your encouraging emails and comments I was so full of creative energy, that I couldn’t put my pencil away. And with my other hand I have tried to response to all emails and visit every blog you invited me to. I do apologize if there was any comment or email I have left without a replay, I hope there wasn’t any.

As some of you asked me for images with boys, I have created this little fellow - Suzi’s brother. He will be available as digi along with other images on Monday. I am still thinking about the name for him. If you have any proposition – please let me know.

I can’t wait to show you what I have designed for you. March release of six new stamps is ready to be launched, but if you have any suggestions, what else you would like to see designed be me in future – you are very welcome to leave a comment with your idea, I’ll see what I can do about it.

One more thing – I decided to change the file format for my stamps. Instead of PNG they will be JPG, as many of you asked for this file after having problems with transparent background of PNG. If anyone prefers PNG – it will be available on request.

Thank you again for helping me with promoting my WeeStamps shop. Just two of us - Suzi and me wouldn’t do it without You!

Happy Saint Valentine’s Day!!

Speaking about love….

There are many things I am in love with and one of them is wild and windy country – Scotland. Edinburgh, Scottish capital is a place I have spent some of the most magical time in my life. I love it’s history, architecture with this beautiful castle on the giant volcanic rock in the middle of the city centre, landscapes, music, accent, kilts, April’s yellow seas of daffodils and most of all – these happy and friendly Scottish people.

Thinking about the name for my little store, I wanted it to be simple and associated with something I love as much as drawing, something Scottish. “Wee” – it was the word everybody was using around me when I came here 3 years ago. Wee boy, wee talk, wee flower, so many things were “wee” and I didn’t even know what this word means for so long…

“Wee - (Scottish, Northern Ireland, North England) small, little”

Today it’s the first release in my WeeStamps shop. I hope you will like it

Hello again!

At the beginning I would like to thank you all for the lovely comments, e-mails, following or linking back to my blog . I don't post very often but during breaks from my work (at the moment those are illustrations for primary book) I am visiting your blogs for all this great ideas and colouring inspirations. Some of cards I see there are really jaw dropping!

There is also another thing that consumes my time and it is great news for those of you who like my stamps and would like to see them more often. I will be opening my on-line stamps store very, very soon. And my first release will take place on Valentine’s Day when the whole energy and love is in the air!!

This card is so beautiful. I love the flower and shining colours. It looks like covered with winter frost, I am sure this card is cold when you touch it :)Absolutely amazing work.

This sky blue and cream colour make this card looking so light. Glittering dress is very pretty and frilly edges added on opposite sites of different papers layers are just amazing!

Cards made by Miranda are unique. It is probably the matter of coluring with this specific dark shading and papers used. You do not have to see them signed to know they are made by her. I especially love the idea with these pearls on feather.

What is so special for me about this card is the contrast between the elegance of white and vibrant of red colour. Kaylou's creation is just beautiful in its simplicity.

(Phew.... that was a good exercise for my language.) :D

I am so excited as yesterday my rubber stamps arrived. I finally had a chance to see how they look like exactly. After examine the feel of it and size I really want to try start using them. So I guess I just need to find proper wooden blocks to stick them on and see what ink pads are the best out there. But the greatest thing about the parcel was that there were not only mine stamps from Spesch but also a card made by Tracey!

I am still impressed by the beauty of it. I knew that they must be really nice since I have seen so many in internet (and only in internet), but in any way photos are able to show everything about the cards! Now I know you really need to feel the texture of paper, flowers, the weight of it, colours in daylight and to see how glamour dust shines to understand the real value of handmade cards.

My second, not only designed, but also coloured stamp – Draggy. This time I am not very happy with my result, as with this particular green colour Draggy looks more like frog I guess. So I am even happier that this stamps is available as black outlines and I can find lots of colourful versions at other blogs. 

There is one thing about Draggy illustration …. It is really “old”. I designed him 5 years ago. Yep. Than put it to my drawer for so long. I wanted to illustrate books about dragons. But instead of this, I had chance to design illustrations for fairies adventure. So I’ve published Fairies Stories (they are at my portfolio website) and Draggy found home at Spesch Stamps. Years later.

This time I publish 3 cards I found here in blogland. They are completely different from each other. But all have some unique ideas I love.

As an illustrator I have lots of work for publishers and individual clients. That is why I do not make cards myself, but I love browsing through crafting people's blogs. Right, so this is my blogging beginning. I decided not to be boring to much and rather share images than write posts with my not very "clever" English.;)
