Amy by Lyndsey Turner

Hi everyone,

Today we have the first card to show you by our September Guest Designer Lyndsey Turner. Lyndsey worked with Wee Stamps' Amy (available as a digital image, a rubber stamp and as part of a set of card toppers) and created this adorable card with her.
Isn't it amazing how colourful and cheerful this card is despite the black colours Lyndsey added? It always seems to me that using black elements for "happy" cards is a challenge and I really love how perfectly balanced are the colours chosen by our Designer. Gorgeous black ribbon and darker papers do not overwhelm the general feel of the project but add elegance to this beautiful birthday creation instead.
